Hopcode

Terms of Service

Last updated: 3 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Hopcode (“Hopcode”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Hopcode.

1. The service

Hopcode lets you create dynamic QR codes whose destination you can change at any time, and shows you analytics about how they are scanned. Each code routes through a short link we host and redirect.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use Hopcode to point codes at, or distribute, anything unlawful or harmful. In particular you must not:

We may screen destinations and may pause or remove any code, or suspend or close any account, that we reasonably believe breaches these terms — including to protect other users and the integrity of our links.

4. Plans, billing & cancellation

Hopcode offers a free plan and a paid Pro plan (£19/month). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the destinations and content you link to. You grant us the limited rights needed to host your codes and operate the redirect and analytics features. You are responsible for the content you point codes at.

6. Availability & changes

We work hard to keep redirects fast and reliable, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law, Hopcode is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.

8. Termination

You may stop using Hopcode and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to comply with the law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
